Packaging Concerns & Goals
Current Packaging Roadblocks

The current packaging doesn’t effectively highlight the device, making it harder for customers to immediately see its key features.

The design isn’t fully connecting with the target audience, missing an opportunity to attract and engage buyers.

At $0.50 per unit, the packaging is a significant cost reducing margins for potential profit opportunities.

The current design isn’t helping to drive sales or encourage faster sell-through, which is a missed opportunity.

If customers find the packaging difficult to open, it creates unnecessary frustration and could impact their overall experience with the product.
Ways to Improve Packaging

A couple of options to design and show the product. Either provided housing units using a clamshell frame with provided dielines from the vendor to design the inserts. Mylar bag with a print of the product on the front.

We’ll clearly call out the product’s unique selling points ensuring customers immediately recognize its value and key benefits.

A more intuitive opening design improves the customer experience, reducing frustration and making the product more user-friendly.

My Process & Timeline

1. Project Proposal & Contract
Week 1
This proposal is based upon our call and how I can best help. Once the proposal has been agreed upon, a simple, clear contract will be sent to be signed.
Payment 1 of 2 - 50% due upon signage -
2. Project Brief Details
Week 1
This serves as the foundation of the new packaging. Understanding the product, and content needs for the new package such as copy, dimensions, and state regulated compliances. -
3. Low Fidelity Sketches
Week 2
Serving as the step to explore 6 unique layout directions in a quick and efficient manner to explore ideas before choosing which 3 options to develop next.

4. High Fidelity Designs
Week 3
In this phase, the 3 developed designs will start to breath life, with color, logos, copy, and imagery. We’ll have 1 round of revisions before moving to user testing. -
5. User Testing Insights
Week 4
Here we’ll use www.pickfu.com to test 3 different designed packages amongst 50 THC/CBD users to see which package they most relate to, and would choose on an oversaturated shelf.

6. Design Revisions
Week 5
Based on the user testing, we need to choose 1 final package to continue forward with. We’ll revise, and develop further, to get ready for pre-production sampling. -
7. Production Launch + Final Payment
The exciting day when the packaging is finalized, and has been sent to print, in the thousands.
